Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, Florida seeks a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our pediatric cardiothoracic team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a CT surgeon and support the care of children undergoing cardiothoracic and cardiology services at Nemours Jacksonville.

The role requires a PA with a Master’s degree, active FL PA licensure, and 3–6+ months of APP experience; inpatient experience is strongly preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

Master's degree in PA studies from an accredited program.
Current Florida PA license.
Inpatient APP experience strongly preferred.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
3–6+ months of APP experience required.

Responsibilities

Direct patient care under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon.
Assist with overall care of children receiving cardiothoracic and cardiology services at Nemours Jacksonville.

The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant is responsible for performing direct patient care services under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon and assists with the overall care of children receiving cardiothoracic and cardiology services at Nemours Jacksonville.

Qualifications

Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida.
