Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM); approximately 6-7 shifts per month
• Patients per day: Approximately 1 delivery per day (30 deliveries per month)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital newborn nursery
• Scope: Newborn care, well newborn exams, follow-up care until discharge, discharge exams, attendance at deliveries for neonatal concerns, and coordination of transfer to a higher level of care/NICU when needed
• State Licensure: Active California license and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
• Responsibility for Advanced Practitioners: None specified
