Job summary

Little Angels PPEC in Central Florida seeks a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The PTA will support pediatric patients across Loongwood, Apopka, and Orlando locations, implementing therapy plans under a supervising PT, and collaborating with nurses and other therapists.

Ideal candidates have PTA licensure in Florida and experience with medical complex or special-needs children. Travel between PPEC sites is expected to provide consistent care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required.
• Pediatric or early intervention experience preferred.
• Active Florida PTA license in good standing required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist pediatric patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide one-on-one and group interventions focusing on gross motor development, balance, mobility, posture, and strength.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy interventions.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EMR.
