Job summary

WPTT is seeking a Traveling Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality PTA services to pediatric clients across multiple sites. The role includes travel between sites, direct pediatric care, and collaboration with families and the supervising PT.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited PTA program degree, an active NY PTA license, and pediatric experience. Flexibility to travel and adapt to different settings is essential.

Qualifications

• NY PTA license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred (early intervention, school-based, or outpatient).
• Willingness to travel between sites and work flexible hours.

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
• Provide direct care to children ages birth to 5, in school, home, and clinical settings
• Travel between assigned service areas
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT
• Collaborate with other therapy providers, families, and caregivers
• Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and HIPAA requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in New York State
• Pediatric experience required (early intervention, school-based, or outpatient)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
