Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement prescribed treatment programs for patients in the ESIT team at Children's Village in Yakima. This 0.5 FTE, day-shift role provides opportunities to work collaboratively with OTs, PTs, SLPs, nurses and educators, delivering services in clinic and home/community settings for children 0-3.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of state board examination.
• Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington.
• Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
• You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
• You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
• You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
• You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

• Serve children 0-3 years of age.
• Provide in-person services in the clinic setting as well as in the home/community settings.
• As part of our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers Program (ESIT) team there are educational opportunities to further skills in relationship based practice .
• Work collaboratively as part of a team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, early childhood educators, nurses, and behavioral therapists.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $44.42 - $67.33 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
