Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to plan, organize, and implement pediatric treatment programs. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote development via developmentally appropriate activities and proper handling techniques.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with a New Jersey license and BLS certification. Day shift; on-site at The Valley Health System-Ridgewood.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification.
• Keyboard skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to think critically and analyze information to support patient care.
• Effective time management to set priorities and complete tasks.
• Strong communication with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement pediatric treatment programs.
• Collaborate with pediatric interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Position patients appropriately through developmental sequences and use of age-appropriate toys/equipment.
• Support quality development through proper handling techniques and play-based therapy.
