Job summary

UE Children's Services in Hampton, VA is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) for an outpatient setting. The role offers Full-Time or Part-Time schedules at our Hampton clinic, focusing on pediatric mobility, strength, and gross motor development.

Qualified candidates hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an active Virginia license and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in pediatric outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric PT evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions addressing mobility, strength, balance, gait, and gross motor development.
• Monitor progress and revise plans as needed.
• Educate families on positioning, mobility, equipment, safety, and home programs.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and care-team members.
• Complete timely, payer-compliant documentation.
• Maintain professional licenses and continuing education.

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete pediatric physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
