Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide age-appropriate care from newborn to young adult within a hospital setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with the rehabilitation team and families, ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

We value interdisciplinary cooperation, patient and caregiver education, and adherence to accreditation standards. GA licensure and BLS are required; on-site work at multiple clinical locations may occur, with no minimum experience

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required.
• Experience in pediatric or related physical therapy preferred.
• Georgia physical therapy license required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and meets established standards.
• Develops and implements an evidence-based plan of care with effective interventions.
• Completes documentation accurately and on time.
• Involves patients' caregivers with education and tailored documentation.
• Provides clinical oversight to PTAs, rehab aides, and students.
• Supports accreditation readiness and travels to clinical locations as needed.
