Nicklaus Children's is seeking a Physical Therapist in Miramar, FL. This part-time role includes benefits and daytime schedule.

The candidate will evaluate, re-evaluate, and implement a plan of care, collaborate across disciplines, and document progress per department standards. license, BLS, and pediatric experience are preferred. The position emphasizes evidence-based care and ongoing CEUs for clinical excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• American Heart Association BLS - active
• Florida Professional Physical Therapist license - active
• Level II fingerprinting background and Good Moral Character Affidavit initiated within 15 days and finalized within 90 days

Responsabilidades

• Participates in interdisciplinary meetings related to patient care.
• Maintains productivity standards and documents accordingly.
• Records daily patient documentation, statistics, and charges per department standards.
• Maintains communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Develops a care plan outlining deficits, restrictions, context, and measurable goals.
• Initiates discharge planning at evaluation based on potential and progress.
• Provides evidence-based practice documentation and peer review as required.
• Maintains ongoing CEUs to sustain licensure and clinical excellence.
