Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Richardson, TX seeks a licensed physical therapist to provide pediatric in-home services. You will assess and treat children 0-21, 2+ visits per week, following physician orders, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

We value experience in pediatrics and home health, with bilingual Spanish a plus. New grads welcome with 6 weeks pediatric OT exposure; valid auto insurance and driver's license required, along with Texas PT licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required; new grads must have 6 weeks pediatric OT experience.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and PT interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients via training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Certified Physical Therapy Assistants.
