Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver pediatric PT services through the Early Intervention program in homes and centers across New York. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor child progress to support IFSP goals.

The role requires a valid PT license in the state, a qualifying degree in Physical Therapy, and DOH approval. You’ll collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals, plus complete documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Must have a qualifying degree in Physical Therapy.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program in home or center settings.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Physical Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility, orientation safety directives, guidelines, and exercises.
