Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. in Long Island, NY, part of PowerBack Rehabilitation, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services to children in the school setting. You will perform evaluations, track progress, and deliver therapy as mandated in IEPs, collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals.

You will complete documentation and support functional mobility and safety while pursuing ongoing professional development through our CEU offerings and PowerZone program.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in NY and/or eligible for licensure.
• Must hold a qualifying degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver PT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support child goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility and safety directives and exercises.
