About Us: Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a nationally recognized Pediatric Specialty Care center for Medically Fragile Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults. It offers 119 in-patient beds and has the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF has been recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare and received the highest accreditation from The Joint Commission in 2013. The facility has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS). Position Summary: The Physical Therapist is a vital member of the Interdisciplinary Team, responsible for administering appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children from birth to 21 years old. The therapist works closely with the team to ensure the carryover of treatment plans and goals. This role involves working in our long-term care sub-acute facility, providing community and on-site school-based interventions, and potentially medical daycare services.

Position Qualifications:

  • MPT/DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
  • Current NJ licensure
  • Pediatric experience in medical and educational settings
  • Current NJ Board of Education Certification or eligibility as a School Physical Therapist (strongly preferred or in process at time of hire)
  • NDTA, APTA, SI, or other relevant training/certification encouraged
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • BLS and CPR Certifications
