Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to serve children in the Early Intervention program, in home or center settings across Long Island and NYC. You will perform evaluations, monitor progress, and deliver mandated PT services under the IFSP.

Collaboration with families and other professionals, plus completing documentation, are essential. A valid NY license and DOH approval are required to join our team with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
• Must have a qualifying degree in Physical Therapy.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program in settings such as home or center.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Physical Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility and orientation safety directives, guidelines, and exercises.
