Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale in Chicago offers a unique therapy program for children ages 6-14 with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs. The PT will focus on mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based approaches, collaboration with speech and occupational therapists, and ongoing parent communication. A licensed PT with pediatric experience is required, with a clear pathway for mentorship

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist License through IDFPR.
• Experience providing PT services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and rotation therapy.
• Implement therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
• Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists and social workers.
• Document progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
