Job summary

Let’s Communicate is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice in northeast Georgia, expanding locations, seeking a Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will assess patients, develop effective treatment plans, and collaborate across disciplines to help children thrive with progressive therapies.

Our team emphasizes caregivers and families, with flexible schedules, mentorship for CFs and new grads, weekly bonuses, and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in Georgia, or a recent graduate.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to relate professionally and positively with patients, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and evaluate and develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment plans.
• Advise and instruct multi-disciplinary team in therapy modalities.
• Maintain documentation of progress in the computer-based program.

Clinic Locations:

We are located in beautiful northeast Georgia between metro Atlanta and Athens, with more locations to come.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessing patient needs, evaluating, developing effective patient treatment plans, and modifying care to meet the goals of therapy interventions.
• Provide skilled therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• Instructing patients and families on patients’ treatment plans.
• Advising, consulting, and instructing members of the multi-disciplinary team in specific therapy modalities.
• Observing and reporting patient progress and/or changes in patient status to the physician and appropriate team members.
• Each therapist will work with a mixed caseload that may include diagnoses of developmental delays, cognitive deficits, sensory disorders, fine motor delays, balance, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.
• Maintain documentation of reports, notes, and progress of therapy via our computer-based program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in Georgia, or a recent graduate.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels.

Ability to Relocate:

• Winder, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required).
