Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist licensure in good standing is required.
• 0–2+ years PT experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric motor development, mobility, balance, coordination.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, compassion, adaptability, and patient-centered care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized PT addressing gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional movement.
• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and communicate findings and recommendations to families and caregivers.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Educate families on progress, strategies, and activities to support development.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, and SLP to coordinate pediatric care.
• Maintain timely evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and documentation.

Job Overview – Pediatric Physical Therapist
Compensation: $70,000/year
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (In-Office)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring Pediatric Physical Therapists in Dallas, TX for our client, providing individualized therapy to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient pediatric setting. Multiple openings are available as the clinical team continues to expand. This role will perform physical therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide one-on-one therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support pediatric mobility and developmental goals. New graduates with an interest in pediatric physical therapy are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities as the Pediatric Physical Therapist:

• Pediatric Therapy: Provide individualized physical therapy addressing gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional movement.
• Clinical Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and communicate findings and recommendations to families and caregivers.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on each patient's clinical and developmental needs.
• Family Education: Educate families and caregivers on treatment progress, therapeutic strategies, and appropriate activities to support continued development.
• Interdisciplinary Care: Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy professionals to coordinate comprehensive pediatric care.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and other required electronic documentation.

Qualifications for the Pediatric Physical Therapist:

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or other qualifying physical therapy degree from an accredited program is required.
• Licensure: Active Texas Physical Therapist licensure in good standing is required.
• Experience: 0–2+ years of physical therapy experience is preferred, with qualified new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pediatric motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and developmental conditions is required, with outpatient pediatric experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation practices is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, collaboration, organization, compassion, adaptability, and ability to provide engaging, patient-centered pediatric care are required.
