Aufgaben

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions (e.g., Glucola) according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
• Complete data entry including patient registration and test orders.
• Enter billing information when required.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory and stock management.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures; ensure staff follow instructions.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy.
• Assist with compilation and submission of monthly statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner.
• Complete training courses and stay up-to-date with phlebotomy techniques.
• Travel to Territory Manager meetings if held off-site or off normal shift.
• Participate in special projects related to Primex.
• Stay up-to-date on company communications.
