Job summary

Join the pharmacy team at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, one of the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support safe, accurate medication delivery for our pediatric patients—with full training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm + every 3rd weekend; hospital experience not required; opportunities for advancement within a collaborative pediatric care environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA is required to be considered.
• Open to candidates with less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with laws and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
