Qualifications

• Three (3) years recent full-time inpatient Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience.
• Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery.
• Proficiency in circulating duties.
• Proficiency in scrubbing duties.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Excellent verbal and written skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in the OR.
• Float to pediatric perioperative units and oversee care.
• Assist with management of patient care by other nursing team members.
• Maintain knowledge and abilities essential for nursing practice.
• Follow UCSF Medical Center standards for communication and behavior.
