Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is seeking a seasoned Perfusionist/ECMO operations leader to manage the perfusion and ECMO services across a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities include staff leadership, high-quality patient care, and adherence to regulatory standards within the TxCtr-Admin department.

The role requires managing department workflows, budgets, and staffing; fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• Cardiovascular Perfusionists by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion; Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support

Responsabilités

• Assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the operation of perfusion and ECMO services, staff, and facilities.
• Hires, schedules, trains, and evaluates staff; implements corrective action up to termination and ensures competency.
• Manages quality, budget, and resources to meet department and hospital standards; develops procedures and reports.
