Job summary

Requires a high school diploma or GED; BLS/CPR certification within 3 months post-hire; preferred experience in healthcare or caregiving; strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills to document care and participate in patient safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic life support (BLS) or Heartsaver CPR post-hire within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support, address needs, and promote emotional well‑being.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Respond to call lights and relay patient requests to nurses.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Escort and assist patients to locations within the facility.
• Assist with meal service and monitor intake.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and assist with infection control.
