Driscoll Children’s Hospital is expanding its pathology faculty and seeks an AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join a pediatric-focused practice. A Pediatric Pathologist is preferred, but candidates motivated to work in a pediatric environment will be considered.

Opportunities are available in Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley, with leadership possibilities. The department operates a high-volume clinical and anatomic pathology service with 24/7 laboratory coverage.

Qualifications

• AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible in pathology.
• Pediatric pathology experience or interest preferred.
• Ability to practice in a pediatric-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical pathology, frozen sections, and cytopathology.
• Provide clinical laboratory oversight and related duties.

Pediatric Pathologist – Driscoll Children’s Hospital

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking to expand its faculty with an AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join our well-established pathology practice. A Pediatric Pathologist is preferred, but applicants motivated to practice in a pediatric focused environment will be considered. We have opportunities available in both Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley and leadership opportunities are available.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is a state-of-the-art, fully computerized, full-service laboratory operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a clinical (non‑academic) position offering a broad and dynamic scope of practice. The Department of Pathology is pediatric patient focused where the patient’s best interests are paramount.
