Job summary

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist specialized in pancreatology for the Medical Director position of our Pancreas Care Center (PCC). The ideal candidate would be at the associate professor or professor level with pancreas training and a pancreas-focused clinical interest.

Interventional endoscopists are welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Current active medical license in Ohio or eligible.
• Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical gastroenterology with pancreatology focus.
• Associate Professor or Professor appointment or eligibility.
• Demonstrated leadership and multidisciplinary team management.
• Commitment to patient care, education and research.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical Pancreas Care Center and develop protocols.
• Collaborate with divisions to ensure resource allocation.
• Lead multi-disciplinary team providing family-centered care.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and mentor residents/fellows.
