Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital seek a BE/BC Pediatric Palliative Care physician to join the PPPCP and serve in a clinician-educator role with an academic appointment in the Health Science series.

The position focuses on inpatient consultations, outpatient visits, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and scholarly efforts that advance clinical care and program development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible to practice medicine in California.
• BE/BC Pediatric Palliative Care physician.
• Teaching experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultation and outpatient clinic care.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows rotating with the service.
• Engage in clinical research or program development to advance scholarly efforts.
