Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification; active RN license in-state or multi-state compact.
• Telehealth/telemedicine practice requires licensure in the state where the client is located.
• BSN degree preferred; ongoing professional development expected.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains high standards of patient care.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes; takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area to meet patient care needs.
