Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or state license to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Promote a culture of safety and evidence-based practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs.
