Job summary

Inova Health System seeks an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for the Children's Multispecialty team in Fairfax, VA. This is a full-time day shift role, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at 8280 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr., STE 300.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) with BSN planned/completed within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Experience: BSN from an accredited school; ADN must complete BSN within 5 years.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication refills and coordinates patient care in outpatient clinic settings.
• Manages in-basket and administrative duties to support clinical workflow.
• Delivers safe, holistic, patient-centered care in physician practices and outpatient settings.
• Integrates data and clinical knowledge to improve care and outcomes.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to team members and ensures efficient care delivery.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
