Job summary

Driscoll Health System is seeking an RN staff nurse to provide direct nursing care within a defined patient population at our facilities in South Texas. The role emphasizes delivery of evidence-based care, adherence to nursing standards, and ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will hold a Texas RN license, preferably BSN prepared, and maintain CPR certification. ASC certifications and specialty national certs are encouraged and supported by the system.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) continuously maintained; may onboard with AHA or Red Cross CPR and transition to AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to an assigned patient population, service line or clinic department.
• Plan and deliver effective patient care using the nursing process within Texas Nursing Practice Act.
• Maintain competence in the required skills and nursing practices as per service line assignments.
