Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for outpatient services, primarily in the Pain Clinic. The role includes conducting PT evaluations, providing evidence-based treatments, patient and family education, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to support safe discharge planning.

The incumbent will orient to all specialties but focus on Pain Clinic, supervise rehab aides and PT interns, and participate in meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• New grads with pediatric clinical rotations required.
• 3–5 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge recommendations.
• Coordinate schedule, supervise rehabilitation aides, mentor PT interns.
• Maintain equipment, attend meetings, participate in program development and continuing education.
• Meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position.
