Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an outpatient float physical therapist to support our PT teams across Close to Home locations. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate families to promote optimal development and independence.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Ohio licensure, CPR certification, and pediatric clinical experience; you will supervise students and collaborate with staff while maintaining caseload

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and Ohio licensure.
• CPR certification required within 60 days post hire or expiration.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapy and fabricate or recommend adaptive equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Document evaluations and progress; manage caseload and scheduling.
• Supervise students and clinical staff; participate in education programs.
