Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Tampa is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for the outpatient pharmacy. This 20-hour-per-week, day-shift role supports preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management while maintaining accurate records.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with ASHP/ACPE training preferred and 0–2 years of related experience. Registered Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) is required; sterile compounding experience is strongly

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
0 to 2 years of pharmacy technician or other related experience.
PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required
Hands-On Pharmacy Technician & Sterile Compounding experience is strongly preferred!

Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for a variety of duties assisting in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels and keeping appropriate records and documentation.
