Northwestern Medicine's Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Full-time) is a direct patient-care role within Rehabilitation Services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Illinois Occupational Therapist license is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in an outpatient pediatric setting.
• Teaches, participates in committees and department process improvement.
• Serves as a role model for therapists and clinical interns.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to facilitate collaborative care.
• Manages patient plans of care through discharge with timely documentation.
• Completes daily notes reflecting patient response and progress toward goals.
• Develops educational materials tailored to patient understanding.
