The role assists physicians and nursing staff under supervision, delivering essential patient care and administrative support in a pediatric environment.

The position emphasizes phlebotomy, injections, ECGs, charting in EMR, and coordination of patient flow, with a focus on safety and compassionate family-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• 0–3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• CMA (AAMA) or RMA preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication/listening skills with pediatric patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and specimen processing as directed.
• Administers injections and medications as needed.
• Performs ECGs and related monitoring.
• Maintains clinic flow and supports staff and physicians.
• Completes administrative tasks such as scheduling and check-in/check-out.
