Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a registered dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in outpatient pediatric settings. You’ll assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support growth and wellness.

The role requires Texas licensure and ADA registration, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care and cultural sensitivity in a dynamic outpatient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the ADA and licensed in Texas.
• CPR certification required or attained within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to patients and families.
• Assess nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans with ongoing evaluation.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care plans, monitoring parameters, and recommendations in the medical record.
• Contribute to community outreach and education when applicable.
