Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Nebraska is seeking a pediatric anesthesiologist to join a hospital-based, physician-only anesthesiology group. The role emphasizes outpatient surgery with a varied procedural mix including ENT, GI, dental, urology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.

The team operates without CRNAs, offers a semi-annual production bonus, and encourages a collaborative approach with pediatric subspecialists to tailor anesthesia care to complex pediatric and adult cases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Pediatric anesthesia interest or fellowship preferred.
• Active state license or eligibility to obtain pediatric subspecialty fellowship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient ENT, GI, dental, urology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and spine cases.
• Coordinate with pediatric subspecialists for complex cases.
• No ED, OB, or cardiac anesthesia duties in this role.
• Maintain patient safety and anesthesia records; participate in patient-family communication.
