Job summary

Carolina School Services, LLC in Zebulon, NC seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our school-based team. You will provide hands-on therapy under an Occupational Therapist, supporting students from K-12 across fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, and daily living skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina OTA license or registration.
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible, collaborative environment.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple caseloads and schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students from K through grade 12, focusing on fine/visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, ADLs, executive functioning, and school readiness.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to support therapy goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive and positive team culture.
