Job summary

Bright Mosaic in Denton, TX is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to assess children's functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy focused on sensory integration, motor skills, self-care, and life skills.

You will collaborate with ABA, speech, and physical therapists; document progress and update goals; communicate regularly with families and caregivers; and adapt activities to reflect each child’s interests and strengths.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in OT from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice OT in Texas.
• Experience supporting children with autism and developmental disorders.
• Experience in pediatric settings; clinic or school-based preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s functional abilities and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each child.
• Provide direct therapy focusing on sensory integration and motor skills.
• Support self-care and life skills development.
• Collaborate with ABA, speech, and physical therapists.
• Document progress and update goals regularly.
• Communicate with families and caregivers on progress.
• Adapt activities to reflect each child’s interests and strengths.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and program development.
• Maintain ethical, evidence-based practice.
