Job summary

Powerbackrehabtoyou is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide services in the school setting in Long Beach, New York. You will perform evaluations and assessments, deliver mandated services, and collaborate with families and educators to support each child's goals.

Ideal candidates must have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, certification from the National Board, and a valid occupational therapy license. Competitive hourly salary ranges from $70.00 to $90.00.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
