Job summary

Little Steps in Palm Harbor, FL, is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The role includes in-person and telehealth therapy for infants, children, and teens, with emphasis on family-centered care and engaging sessions.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of pediatric disorders, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate closely with families and physicians. Telehealth and in-environment visits are supported.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida DOH Occupational Therapist license.
• At least one year post-graduate work experience.
• Current West Central Early Steps provider or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with the pediatric population.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Fun, passionate, and engaging personality.
• Ability to travel between natural environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapy to the pediatric population.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of disorders within a wide age range.
• Maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary practice.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and doctors.
• Provide services in-person and via telehealth.
• Provide early intervention services to the pediatric infant and toddler population through the FL Early Steps Program.
• Participate in and assist in development of high-quality pediatric group programming, if desired.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
