Job summary

Document goals and progress, participate in IFSP as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support family-centered care and development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the applicable state.
• CPR certification renewed every two years.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tests including manual muscle testing and goniometry, and teach OT procedures to patients and families.
• Conduct both individual and multidisciplinary evaluations; provide written summaries for team plans.
• Plan intervention strategies and communicate with families about child strengths and needs; work in homes, agencies, preschools, or clinics.
• Provide OT treatment services including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy and home programming.
• Document goals and progress; participate in IFSP as needed.
• Participate in chart reviews and attend relevant workshops and meetings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university

Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State with current licensure

CPR Certification every two years

Valid applicable state driver's license
