Job summary

New York Community Care is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for our home-based pediatric caseload. Starting salary is $125,000 with strong benefits including medical/dental insurance, 401k after 3 months, and generous PTO/holidays. Optional chauffeur service is also offered.

This role emphasizes assessment, family coaching, and adapting plans based on patient progress. In-person work with weekday schedule and potential weekend coverage available.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in pediatric home-based settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Provide guidance and support to family members and carers.
• Assess home, school and work environments to optimize participation.
• Assist patients’ exercises for pain relief and functional improvement.
• Record progress and adapt treatment as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks including records and reports.
