Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care in New York seeks licensed Occupational Therapists for pediatric home-based cases. This role offers a base salary of $135,000 with a comprehensive benefits package and a unique door-to-door car service.

Positions are available part-time and full-time. Responsibilities include evaluating physical, communication and cognitive skills, creating treatment plans, and assisting families; weekends may be required or accommodated as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
• Master's (Preferred)
• Occupational Therapy License (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers
• Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
• Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
• Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
• Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
• Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
