Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to plan and implement naturalistic OT for young children aged 2–6 in a center-based setting. You will develop interventions to support gross motor, fine motor, feeding and activities of daily living, and collaborate with ABA, speech, psychology teams.

You will mentor RBTs, monitor progress, and partner with families to set goals and communicate progress while advancing your clinical skills in a multidisciplinary environment with

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• License to practice occupational therapy.
• Preference to 3+ years of experience, but open to new OTs.
• Playful spirit and ability to connect with young children.
• Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting.
• Develop interventions for gross motor, fine motor, feeding, and activities of daily living.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary assessments and treatment plans with ABA, speech, psychology; perform co-treatments with speech therapy.
• Coach and mentor RBTs to translate OT goals into therapy and support career growth.
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate changes to families.
• Partner with families to develop goals and communicate progress.
