Job summary

FYZICAL Kids in Durham, NC is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat children in clinic and home environments. You will develop individualized plans, educate families, and monitor progress to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Candidates should hold NC OT licensure (or be in process), have CPR certification, and excel in documentation, communication, and teamwork within a supportive, growth‑minded practice.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited OT program.
• Valid NC licensure as an occupational therapist (or in the process of obtaining NC licensure).
• Current background check through DCDEE (or willing to obtain prior to beginning work).
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular and consistent work schedule to ensure optimal client outcomes
• Evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide hands‑on therapy in our clinic, as well as in homes and other natural environments
• Educate clients and their families on proper therapeutic techniques and carryover of home programs
• Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as appropriate, to ensure comprehensive care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy techniques for treating pediatric conditions
• Ensure timely completion of paperwork
