Qualifications

• Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools.
• Ability to supervise a COTA, if needed.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Address child’s performance to support engagement in occupations affecting health and life quality.
• Apply OT interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living.
• Teach children methods to approach tasks and break down activities into steps.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers and document progress.
• Maintain patient records and complete documentation in a timely manner.
