Job summary

VIVA Pediatric Healthcare is looking for a Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide care in Wylie, Sachse & Murphy. The role includes assessing patient needs, documenting care plans, and promoting the company mission in delivering quality therapy services.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, a Texas License, and at least two years of pediatric experience, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting; pediatric experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
• Evidence of current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and identify patient needs.
• Document and complete patient Plan of Care; track progress.
• Evaluate patient occupational performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest.

Skills

Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills

Knowledge of durable medical equipment

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
