MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy for children. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

The position supports flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, plus benefits such as insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
