MedCare Pediatric Group in Texas seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy under physician-approved lines of care.

Focus areas include pediatric functional skills, collaboration with the care team, and progress-based plan adjustments. New graduates are welcome; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Flexible scheduling (Full-Time/Part-Time/PRN) with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits in the Greater Houston area.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
