RWJBarnabas Health's Children's Specialized Hospital in Union, NJ seeks a Director of Occupational Therapy Education to lead clinical education across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings. You will champion evidence-based practice, mentor clinicians, and translate research into practice while coordinating with therapy leadership and academic partners.

The role requires a OT degree, NJ licensure, NBCOT certification, and seven+ years of pediatric OT experience with leadership

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• New Jersey OT license required.
• NBCOT certification and registry maintenance required.
• Minimum seven years of pediatric OT experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AVP of Therapy Services and Clinical Director Team to align priorities with goals.
• Lead development and delivery of ongoing clinical education and competency programs.
• Translate current research and standards into practical education and practice changes.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional development.
• Provide leadership to sustain evidence-based practice standards across sites.
• Facilitate OT Leadership Team meetings and coordinate across service areas.
• Support staff education needs and coordinate with academic partners and instructors.
• Oversee the Therapy Clinical Ladder Program and staff mentorship initiatives.
